"Il Sangue" : new instrumental - enjoy!
Little story behind this track...
We all come up with riffs that sometimes just feel right. This one I came up with probably three years ago and it just planted itself in my head. Then, after I started my group (Tripleshift) we rolled this out with lyrics and it was pretty well received. I decided to record this version myself with just two guitar tracks which is what you have here. Interesting note... I recorded this with a homemade microphone. I bought a $3.79 electret microphone element from Radio Shack, wired it to a mono 1/4" jack and encased it with a small tube. The whole thing then was placed inside my acoustic. I was blown away at the result. Also, this was recorded through a Line 6 Toneport UX1 into Garageband. http://www.faraldi.com/tracks/ Enjoy!!!

Very impressive! I can't believe you got that sound from a homemade microphone! I am blown away! Great musicianship and tune by the way!
What type of tube did you encase the mic in?

Cool tune! I enjoyed it.
How about some more info on this mic? Pics? It really does sound good. I'm impressed.
