I haven't figured out how to get youtube videos to come up in the thread!

Really good man!

Really good guitar playing.

The only thing I would like is if your Tele had more 'bite' to it. You know that sharp, punchy sound? And that's not even a complaint of any sort!

Plenty o' twang though!

Great job. Absolutely excellent.

Take the letters after the "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" and copy and paste them into the youtube brackets. (these letters 'Pdd6d9Qv2lg')

you'll get this:

Great Job Randy. What are you playing through?

to post a video:
Go to Youtube and copy everything after the
"=" sign, in this case Pdd6d9Qv2lg
go to advanced tab button at the bottom of the window, hit it.
Hit the youtube icon and this will come up:
[OUTUBE][/OUTUBE] (I pulled the "Y's" out of these to post)

Place the Pdd6d9qv2lg between the two [youtube] markers

[OUTUBE] Pdd6d9Qv2lg [/OUTUBE] (again, "Y's" deleted)

Hit submit reply.

Once again, DO NOT COPY the entire address, just the info after v= v=Pdd6d9Qv2lg

My '88 custom shop tele through a dynacomp that has the monte allums mod into my 1971 Twin Reverb. I put Eminence Tonker speakers in it before the video was shot, so that's what you're hearing. I am really loving those speakers!

Fire that other guitar player Randy, you've got it all man. The lead playing while singing, great tone. By the way, how do you have that Dynacomp juiced and your volume so punchy. I had the script dyna once and I liked it but never figured out how to dial in so I was squashed but still heard.

WEll thank you for the compliments. It was the other singers band and I was just filling in on guitar for him, but if I could ever afford a decent little sound system, I would probably start my own group. I usually have the dynacomp set up with the compression (right knob) at between 10 O'Clock and 11 and the volume is between 2 and 3 O'Clock. I set the volume to match the volume of the guitar with the pedal off if I hit a chord as loud as I can. That way I can turn the comp off for rhythm work and turn it on for the leads to push them out a little better with a hair more sustain, and having just a little compression helps to keep it all together when I am hybrid picking, so the volume is loud enough and clean.

I can tab it out and send it to you. I got it pretty dang close to what is on the record. He plays it different live, but not much. It might take me a few days to find the time to get it tabbed, but I'll try to do it, and you can check out what I'm doing and make any changes you see fit!

Great job. The only other Dwight song I like to play live better is "please please baby". People still love older Dwight music. He is the real deal!

Again, good going and thanks for posting.
