Amature recording/playing - Country ish

I wrote and recorded a song using Audacity, Guitar Rig, an M-Audio Fast Track USB interface and an Epiphone LP Special II with a single coil in the bridge. I did the drums on a program called Acoustica Beatcraft (pretty basic and easy to use). The quality is kind of choppy and the playing... well... it's pretty easy to tell I tried to pull things off I'm not able to play yet for a lot of the riffs/stuck to a lot of basic and generic scales the other half of the time. Give it a listen and let me know what you think!

Also, I just realized I left the click track for the count-in. Leave it to me.

That's realy well done, I would see if you could change the recorded gain volume to about -2dB lower , it's giving a little digital distortion otherwise real good

Thanks guys! I started recording it last night and today when I picked it up again I noticed I lost a lot of volume on any new tracks I tried to record. I ended up giving up trying to fix it properly and just ended up turning up the gain or doubling up tracks, hence the annoying buzzing and distortion. I probably should have been a little more patient with trying to fix it.

+1 on the gain. when i record, i always start with the drums and try to record everything else around them in the mix. your lead parts are way louder than the drums but that's prolly due to the glitch you had. with that said, i really dig your writing style, bro! and you're a much better tele player than me! i'd love to hear more.
gig.
