I have found a pickup winder that really does a great job creating hand wound pickups at affordable prices. Klein. http://www.kleinpickups.com/

I picked up a set of the '63 Strat pickups for my '50s Roadworn and I figured I'd do a short clip in each position. These are very vintage sounding pickups that have a very open middle and great balance from string to string. They hit pedals very well with their lower output. $140 for a set of 3. Check them out!

i have a set in my custom telecaster. he makes great pickups at great prices. before he raised his prices you could get a strat set for $110

He just announced PAF style Humbuckers available July 1st!

Thanks for the info! I thought i would have to goto Jason Lollar for my buckers now i can just wait and goto chris.
Gonna get me some alnico 3 buckers
