Misty - Baritone Guitar

This is my arrangement of the great Erroll Garner standard - I'm using my Jerry Jones electric baritone guitar through a Headstrong amp. Thanks so much for watching, dale

that's cool. the baritone sounds great...i love that song.

i also wantd to comment on your arrangement--nicely done. i also thought the requisite "that's a funny way to hold a guitar" knucklehead youtube comment was hilarious...

That sounded real nice, you just increased my baritone GAS by a load....By the way ,loved all the videos with your boy, you guys are great...my stepson got into drums at first,(I was actually trying to grow a drummer for my own nefarious ends) but he just had a jones for my tele and wound up playing guitar more than anything, I;m still looking for a drummer now...

Most delicious tonedr!

One of my favorite songs, and you do it justice - love the tone of the baritone.

Great.
Simply wonderful. I love the way the Baritone sometimes really sounds like a bassist is backing you. Nice harmonics to!!

van eps= the friggin' master of solo guitar. joe pass had chops, but george had taste too.

tonedr--keep posting man! it's good to know someone else out here is into the solo jazz setting stuff--that's my bread and butter! and folks are generally really positively receptive around here--i love how everytime i post something i get enough "warm fuzzys" to make me want to keep recording...hopefully you got enough too--cuz you sound good, man.

rangercaster - thanks for your kind words....i have heard some GVE and oh my!! What a gift!! Hope all is good.

jazztele - your words mean a lot because i've listened to your playing and you sir are a wonderful player.....i wish i could come even close to doing what you do! I just listened again to your arrangements of Misty and Stell and several others and your tone and technique is just amazing! it is great to be able to hear your work and again your words are kind but i really wish i had dedicated more time to the jazz style of which you are an inspiration!

peace,
dale

Hey Dale, that was so cool. I watched a bunch of your videos and they're all really good. I have so much love for chord melody playing. I wish I knew more songs!
