A 52RI tele, a Vox CC and a bit of Fuzz! Check it out!

The amp is club owned so I just used it. Vox AC30CC1 model.Sounded more Marshall-like to me than Vox.I really enjoyed playing it. 52AVRI tele and a fuzz/wah pedal by Dunlop.

Great playing, great tone!

A Telecaster and a Vox AC30 is always a good combo - I've used it myself.

And a Telecaster is great with some distortion.

This could've been me 40 years ago if I could play as well as you ...

I loved the fact you can really overcook things with the fuzz on top of an overdriven channel.
Here are some audio clips fom the same gig. Mixed at home.

very kool thanks, I have been thinking lately that this is the combo, Tele and an AC30. I would have an AC30 in a NY minute if it didn't come with 70 pounds ! I have been thinking AC15 or if I can locate an AC30 single 12. Until then it's Classic 30 with a Sparkle Drive which is in the right direction at half the weight. And, most of you guys are half my age so at my age 'half the weight" matters !

Loved the video

You might want to look at the Vox Night Train head. Looks/sounds like an AC15 for very reasonable $$ and you can match it with whatever cab you want...

Vox AC30-CC1 112 Custom Classic Combo
AC30-CC1 112 54 lbs. 24" (W) x 10.4" (D) x 21.25" (H)

AC 15
Weight 47.84 lbs

Night Train
Weight: 7.7kg /16.98 lbs

now that's much better !

By the way here is a great read on the VOX AC30. not Class A but not class B either , class AB which is still great and hot.

thanks

Vox AC 30 is on top of my wish list now that I have a '52 Reissue. I have been wondering if I should wait and save to buy something vintage or do I go for a Brian May Limited Edition or one of the reissues I've seen. I ordered the Vox history book off of ebay yesterday so I can learn about the amps, just like I did for the Telecaster.

That was fantastic! I use the AC30CC1 and I'm looking for a 52RI or Hot Rod. Hearing this makes me want it more.
