My bands new release "The Stars" Come check it out!
Hey guys! Just as a forward we recorded this cd back in January and just got the tracks back last week. Today is the first time I got to listen to our finished cd and I'm really stoked. Rythym tracks where done with my CV tele as well as a 70's SG Deluxe through an AC30, Gibson Goldtone, and JCM 900. Leads used a 72 Thinline Tele and a late 80's Gibson Explorer through a DR Z Maz18 and JCM 900 and our bassist tracked all of his parts with his CV Tele Bass!
So any of you guys lurkin around myspace come check it out I would love to hear what you think. I'll probably freshin this post up when we start putting the rest of the album up. The song thats on the myspace right now is called "The Stars" it is the title track. Our link is www.myspace.com/sealife Thanks!!! |

Hey man, that was GREAT stuff. I'm usually so lost in my non-stop pursuit of scratchy old jazz and swing music that I forget to pay some mind to what's happening today. I loved all the songs you posted on myspace. Great sound, great melodies and nothing that I would call derivative (meaning I don't think you sound like anyone else). Good luck on getting the CD all pressed and out the door!
