The Dawgwoods... Yellowknife, Canada

Hi Everybody.

I thought I'd post a link to my band's myspace page. We're the Dawgwoods, and instead of including a lengthy story here I guess you can read it on the myspace thingy. There's five of our songs on there, including the "Hey Mr" video. I'm playing my 1999 Nashville Deluxe telecaster through a Hot Rod amp, except "I hate you oh so much" where I'm playing my old archtop with a slide. The guitar playing is fairly amateurish, I think I've gotten better lately, but you see this kind of music never used to be my thing, I used to play punk and hard rock, so bear with me through the songs. The songs were written by Chris and Becky, and every one else in the band made up their parts so I think I can feel a little proud of them too. I'm the grumpy-lookin guy in the orange tshirt in the photo. Somehow I didn't show up in the video, because I'm on the extreme right of the stage dressed all in black. Anyway, that's me playing the electric guitar. I'd appreciate some feedback.

thanks.

So if you're from Canada that's not Americana music - it's North Americana, eh? Sorry, couldn't resist a stupid joke. Sounds good, everybody's having fun and I like the tone and the retro sound. Keep it up man!
