My best friend and I just hooked up again after 30 years. We started out playing together and played in the same bands for 10 years until life separated us. We have gotten together a few times to work on the original songs we wrote, dating back to the 60s. Here is one from 1969, called Otters. I am now singing harmony, but it throws us way, way out of tune. Still, it is so much fun to be playing and singing with your musical soulmate after years of separation. I hope you appreciate the energy and fun and don't mind the roughness too much. This version is a copy and paste assemblage of two days messing around. Our plans are for our drummer, who we also hooked up with recently, to record his part and erase the Garage Band drummer on this version. Then we'll record the vocals (correctly this time). We also have to work on the words and the arrangement. This version has a long guitar solo at the end, starting at 4:20. I'm just messing around, trying out ideas. Here we go, from 1969, "Otters:"
