Here we go... The lead is not a Tele, the Rhythm tracks are.For the lead I used my '93 PRS CE-24 w/HFS bridge pickup into my JSX Crunch(amber) ch2. Gain at 5. my usual tone settings are treble 6.5 mids 6 bass 9, presence and resonance at 8. At mid song for lead 2 I switched to my Warmoth Strat. Used it's neck pickup. Tone rolled off on guitar and a French Toast Octave fuzz(Octavia tone)Thru the JSX clean channel maybe an overdrive after the Octave fuzz to darken/tame the treble a little... And that's pretty much it- just a SM57 halfway between center and edge of speaker cone(Celestion V30) of an oversized Laney 2x12. |
