That Wonderful Open G Tuning!
My Status Quo cover is on this site: http://bandmix.co.uk/slinkymcvelvet/. The song is a live Quo classic called "Hold You Back".
All the guitars were recorded on my '83 Squier JV Series Tele, "Blondie" that you can see in my photo's. The rythm part recorded in open G tuning capo'ed on the 2nd fret and the lead in normal. There's also a video of a lead excerpt from a live gig in 1996. Enjoy! (hopefully!) Last edited by slinkymcvelvet; August 29th, 2008 at 10:35 AM. Reason: Added a sentence. |

I like how the first 50 seconds take you on a little journey, and then it emerges into that surprisingly good Kinks-esque pop song.
I would like to hear more of your songs. Cheers, Motor |
