Johnny Cash anyone?

My cover of Folsom Prison Blues. I little bit off when I converted to MP3, but I think it's fine.

Not to hijack or anything but it has always been my contention that Cash made one fatal mistake in the lyric.
Almost all “prison songs” usually have at least just a touch of “sympathy” or “justification” in the story.
My papa left when I was young
My woman cheated on me
I was in debt and needed the money
Etc.

So, if we’re supposed to feel a little sympathy for the imprisoned author, the original lyric:

I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die

Should be instead:

I shot a man in Reno and I watched him die

I will now accept 10% of the posthumous royalties. Thank you.
