Original blues tune from my album

I finished up my album in December of 2007 and have been selling it locally, off my website, and on iTunes. Here's a freebie:

(EDIT: Link removed--limited time offer. :D)

You can also hear a three of the other tunes at my Myspace page:

http://www.myspace.com/petechimbidis

"What I Can't Say" and "In My Hands" feature a full horn section in addition to the rest of the band.

You can also check out details about it at my website by clicking the "me" link in my sig, or by searching my name (Pete Chimbidis) at iTunes. Let me know what you think, and thanks for listening!

(Sorry, "Drowning Time" is all Strat, no Tele on this track. If you listen to "My Jeans" on my Myspace page--that one is all Tele. )

Very nice PC. Great touch, tone and phrasing. I dig the way you build the solo, play for the tune and not overplay. Mighty good stuff!

Edit to add: Just checked out a few tunes on My Space. Cool the way you morph the bass line from Rikki Don't Lose That Number in Song for My Father. My Jeans is killer! Looking forward to hearing the others.

Thanks! Actually it's the other way around. That is the bass line from the original Horace Silver version of "Song For My Father." Steely Dan used it as their inspiration for Rikki. Great ear though!
