Well, some purists will scoff at it, and although I won't be getting one anytime, I say bring it on! I'm pretty sure Jim Root was/is a big supporter of the Flat Head tele, so this seems to be the next progression.

Hmmm... very "non-teleish" I guess as far as the traditional sense goes, but I think I might get one. I got rid of everything but one Tele, but that might be a good way to get "pointy guitar" sound, while still playing a Tele.

I've digested this for a while and I'm definitely thinking I may get me one of these. Will talk to my Fender dealer tomorrow, but I need to get an amp first :(
I like the black one, but wish it has the rosewood fretboard instead of the maple. I know, I know... dead horse whipped into oblivion. But, that's just what I would prefer. The white body is just too bright for me.
