Fret-Light "Telecaster-Style" Teaching Guitar Lights the Way

Fretlight "Telecaster-Style" Teaching Guitar Lights the Way
(from Boston Globe, June 11, 2007)

Optek Music Systems recently released the FG-431 Vintage Electric Telecaster-style model ($549.95) with "Fretlight " teaching technology. This Tele-Style guitar has lights on its neck that show you exactly where to place your fingers to play particular chords, scales, and riffs http://www.fretlight.com/Guitars/fg431.html.

Fretlight is a teaching method using lights embedded on the neck. The guitar comes with PC software that guides you through some introductory lessons and songs. The Fretlight "T-Style" has two ports: one for the cable you plug into your amplifier, another for the USB connection to your PC.

The "made in China" Optec FG-431 Vintage Electric Telecaster-style model is billed as a "vintage 60's style" yet has a modern Tele-style bridge.
