Fender and Stones Team Up

FENDER® Teams up with Scorsese and the Stones for Movie -- Giveaway a free Telecaster

April 2, 2008 --(FMIC Release)--
Fender has teamed up with Academy Award® winning director Martin Scorsese, the Rolling Stones and Paramount Pictures for the release of the forthcoming feature concert film, “Shine A Light,” in theaters and IMAX® on April 4, 2008

The film, directed by Scorsese and shot in Oct. 2006, follows the Rolling Stones over a pair of concerts at the famed Beacon Theater in New York City. The Stones deliver classic high-energy performances and share the stage with special guests Buddy Guy, Jack White and mass amounts of Fender gear. The film also showcases rarely seen archival footage of the Stones in a unique cinema experience.

As part of the promotion of this new movie, Fender is giving away a free custom "Shine The Light" Telecaster. Register at the website link below.

To see more, including the trailer of the film, check it out at www.fender.com/shinealight

Thanks for the heads up. I went to see it last night. Good show, even captured all the interaction(Ronnie,Keef, Mick) on stage during the songs. Some very funny parts too. Only detriment was Micks age and dental work on a 10' screen....eeewwww. But all in all it was a kick. Not crowded either, I guess concert films are not a big draw here.

I don't understand why they always give stuff away in the US, but can't do it across the border here in Canada. What happened to Free Trade?!??! C'mon!
