Tele Bridges and Saddles question.... what are the pros using?

Piecing together my backup tele... i've come to an interesting crossroads.... tele bridge choice....

I've held Brent Mason's guitar... I know he's using the 6 saddle configuration.. not sure on the bridgeplate.... but.... he's basically defined the tele tone in popular music for the past 20 or so years....

Redd's using Glendale products... as do I right now on my number 1..

What are all you other pro's/semi-pro's using? (not calling myself a pro.. but i do get paid... from time to time... )

are any of the major "tele guys" using Graphtech saddles? Callaham products? Stock fender stuff? Joe Barden bridgeplates?

inquiring mind wants to know.

in MY experience , most "pros" are nowhere near as cork-sniffing as most forumites

They often play vintage pieces with "player modifications" or stock fender stuff - maybe swapping pickups for fralins , duncans - something very readily available

I'm not saying there arent tons of exceptions - but stock guitars and Boss pedals are more common than tweaky bridge plates and Hamel pickups

Just goes to show you - if you have time to tweak - more power to you. If you dont , play and sing well and nobody but you will care about the extra 6% of tone you get from your amp ( which is then lost in the P.A. )

The majority use stock bridges and saddles.
