I can say without superfluity (although I needed a spell checker to type that word) that the Baja is the best Tele I've owned--that's out of two American series, an AVRI '52, a MiM Thinline RI and an AmDlx.
Everyone likes different things, etc., but for me it was that huge neck combined with features a little more traditional than the AmSe Teles. Well, okay, the S1 switching isn't traditional, but I meant more like NON-noiseless pickups with the CS-Broadcaster in the bridge, the traditional bridge, the barrel saddles, slotted tuners, etc. I'm completely in love with mine. I bought it used, and the after-market guard was already on it. It's my Mochatele. ![]()
