Good, cheap Nashville (style) tele

Just added another tele to the "family" this weekend, (actually, got it on ebay last week, it came in Sat.), it's a Peavey Generation EXP.
I'd seen some of these Peaveys in different configurations at a shop I stopped in earlier this year, I didn't actually try them out, but I knew being Peavey, they were probably decent guitars. So when I saw these, new, on ebay for 149. shipped, I grabbed one.

Yeah, it's not a Fender Nashville, I have one, haven't done a side-by-side comparison (I don't do that anyway, I weigh each guitar on it's own merits), but you've got the same basics - three pups and a 5-way switch.
I haven't put it through a lot of paces yet, but so far, it's a nice player, sounds good, string-thru body, nice finish - kind of a transparent blonde (though it looks "natural" in pics). It didn't come with the bridge cover, I added that;

And in case anyome wants to see what it looks like without the bridge cover, here's the stock pic;

Very nice looking guitar. Peavey guitars are very under-rated in my opinion. The Generation Series from 80'-90's are some of the best you can get, IMO.

Nice score, do they have any more?

Looks like thay have one more blonde ending in two hours, a black one with the 149. BIN I used, and two more black ones on regular auction, here's the link;

I bought mine, it was the first one they put up, it wasn't until after that they put some black ones up and some on regular auction, but I'm glad I didn't wait an do the auction ones, 149. shipped is cheap enough.
