Brother Arlo, it is with deep sorrow for you and yours that I hear of the passing of your father. I lost my father at an early age, and was devastated to say the least. But I realized that I had been a lucky son of a gun to have him until then, and that based on that, I had no business being down. I should instead celebrate the memory of the man by keeping my head up and learning from him so that, when I would be a father, I would have a chance to pass his wisdom on to the next generation. I have found a lot of solace in that, and I hope that you will too.
You know where to find me if you need anything. Please don't hesitate to ask!

I'm so sorry to hear the bad news, my deepest sympathy.
Try to celebrate Gilbert's life, not mourn his departure, not easy (I know from experience), try and stay strong. I trust that the support and sentiments expressed here on the forum offer a few small crumbs of comfort. JayBee |
