Another one to file in the "???(ebay)" folder
Looks like a new forem of termite has been found that nibbles the paint off around the edges first before attacking the wood..... kinda like eating an Oreo

Well spotted brittwin, as usual it's an "I dont really want to sell 'cos it's so good" but hang on ----- there's a "left handed version also available", do you think that's to good to sell too ??.
Forget "The Blackguard book", there should be a book of fleaBay beauties.

When will people learn..... never, ever, ever wear your fully functional orbital sander belt buckle while playing. Sheesh!
PS: I am not a fan of "relicing". But I never knew I would find it funny.

I hate it when such a beautiful word like customized is used to describe garbage.
I cannot afford vintage so tasteful relicing appeals to me on SOME guitars but I get the feeling that in a few years there will be alot more parts guitars floating around. For Sale, 1 Tele body, 1 owner, SLIGHTLY abraded, make an offer! |

Now that is psycho.
I logged in to my long unused fleabay acct. and sent him a message. Basically saying, "put away the orbital sander and stop abusing guitars." Geez.

I just wonder whats going thru someone brain when they get an idea to do this and screw it up so bad.
Ok he wants to relic the edges but leaves the center part as new. Thats just dumb its impossible for a guitar to get that much wear on the edges without the middle also getting damaged scratched etc.

"It has upgraded Bill Lawrence Pickups that sound amazing. It is the best sounding Tele I have ever played. The Grover tuners & straplocks are new and have not been aged."
So it just needs a new MIM body, neck and hardware and you will have a real keeper. |

That looks like it was dragged behind a truck down eleven miles of gravel road. That's not relic'd, it's roached!

Give the guy some credit. He sure knows how to get his pickguards showcased on the TDPRI... Best $300 for a used MIM and an hour of sanding he ever spent.

Anybody else get a reply from this feller? I read his feedback and the bulk of his sales are for generic wood pickguards. I didn't care much for the p'gs either. Clearly, not the best at manufacturing a legit looking relic in my opinion. OMMV
