What size wrench for truss rod on Tele (nut on headstock)
I've got a buzz on my tele and I need to make a truss rod adjustment. It's a B Bender tele, the adjustment is made on the headstock behind the nut. What size wrench do I need? I'm also thinking I may need one with a longer shaft, the one I'm trying to use seems to fit but seem a little too short to reach the adjusting nut and it feels like it may be starting to strip it ........so I better quit now and ask.

Nancy, if your B-Bender Tele is the American Nashville model
then you'll need a 3/32" hex/Allen wrench to adjust the truss rod. The actual Fender part number for the 3/32" hex wrench is 001-8622-000. But, as you well know, you can get a 3/32" hex wrench at virtually any hardware store without Fender's help (and markup :P).
I'm 99.999999999% sure of the size. But, on the very, VERY slim chance that the 3/32" wrench doesn't fit, then you'll need a 1/8" wrench. I hope this helps. Joel :)
