after the country sound ... how?

i have the rio grande Muy Grande in the bridge.and stock in the neck. should i go with changing pickups or getting a compressor and delay. i currently use a digitech gnx3. if i were to change pickups i was thinking no casters

if you have gnx you already have a compressor and a delay... what amp are you using?

I'd start with just going straight into the amp with a little tiny bit of reverb. bridge pickup, tone up toward full on ...

if your pickups are a little too beefy (those are great pickups btw) you can lower them a bit to get a little thinner sound rather than just replacing them.

That will get you on the road to Buck and hag....

If you want a more modern sound... you can put the gnx in there and add a little compression and delay.
