I guess I'm going against the grain (pun definitly intended there!) but I really prefer modern, six-saddle bridgles. Might be because I started with Strats, but I find the ashtray style always gets in the way.

So, I guess if it doesn't have a modern bridge, it'd be a deal breaker for me. I'm not too picky on much else. I'll even take a guitar that has some flaws, as long as they're cosmetic and they take some off the price for it.

I can live with humbuckers. I'm not picky about color either. As long as the neck is comfortable, the hardware is tight, and the electronics are functioning properly, I'll find a way to get the guitar to sound good.

Dealbreakers? Humbucker in the bridge, and a non-traditional bridge type. I don't care if it's modern or vintage, but I want a Tele-looking bridge on the guitar.

Belive it or not...I'm really not that picky when it comes down to buying guitars. I will not buy any that has the "vintage" look as I like them clean. But many times I've bought guitars that the headstocks, body wood and other things aren't to my liking but yet the tone is great. I can over look and make small sacrifice's with a guitars appearance but it's got to have the "tone" or it's a "no go".

Traditional headstock PLEASE!
And Maple Neck, one piece or cap.
Most of mine have aways been Blondes, whatever color that is?
Have a number of sweet ones though only two of them are close to the same color blonde, ironic they are a '72 and an '05!
