52-59 Telecaster Decals

I have a few Decals One is Silver and Black and the other is Gold Thin spagetti, Does anyone know What went to which year

Best bet is to look at the back of that Blue tele book by Any Douschair (Sp?) Has a shot of various headstocks to show the logos for specific years. That would answer the question easily.

The silver/black sounds like the original, which ran thru to mid '60s.

Not sure on gold thin spagetti - the transition logo was thick gold. It may be from an early custom.

States on page 48 that the silver with black trim ran from 51 until 65 and that gold logo with black trim was introduced in early 66. By the fall of 67 they went with the black logo with gold trim.

the gold spaghetti decal is for a strat, or maybe a jag or jazzmaster.
