New Hwy1 with white pearl guard
My local store has a brand new Daphne Blue/rw Hwy1 (like mine) but with a white pearl guard...says that's the way Fender shipped it. The pearl just didn't look right IMHO. Anyone else seen this?

Some stores have been permitted to create 'versions' of some of the standard Fender models; I remember the GC in Mobile doing a lot of this.
I have seen 2 Daphne Blue new Highway Ones in stores last 4 months; they were both ordered, but rejected by whoever ordered them. Nice looking, usual pickguard tho. Bubbanov |
