On that CS guitar, the fingerboard looks like maple finished in transparent green.

I had USACG make me a body like that, in Mahogany, with a different pickup layout.

I still need to determine how to finish it.

The original info- July 2007

Fender Custom Shop FMT Strat: I saw this one at January NAMM and just
had to have it. Unfortunately someone else got it first but now we have
a second one. Pictures probably won't do this one justice but we'll try.
Master Built by Yuiri Shishkov in the Custom Shop
Light Ash Strat with AAA Flamed Maple Top
AAA Birdseye Maple Neck with 9.5" Radius fingerboard and Med/Jumbo Frets
with Large "C" Neck Back Shape
Thinline style Ivoroid Pickguard
Gold 2-Point American style Tremelo Bridge
Gold Tuners with Pearloid Buttons
Texas Special Tele Neck Pickup
Seymour Duncan '59 Humbucker in Bridge Position
3 Way Switch
Both Pickups have Gold Covers
Now for the good part---The Entire guitar is finished in High Gloss
Transparent Green-- Back, Top, and the Neck and Fingerboard. If you are
familiar with the gemstone Malachite that's what this looks like. I've
never seen a guitar like it and I think you will like it as well.
Retail price is $8500 with a special Tweed Case and of course all the
paper work. I haven't worked up a price yet--

quite pretty, but I just can't seem to cozy up to the gold hardware.

ahh, I couldn't afford it even if I loved it to death!

Looks great, love the finish, but I'm not sure what could be expected from the sound. May end up doing nothing particularly well.

It would look great for a St. Paddy's Day gig.

Here's an earlier Yuri Shishkov build along those lines.

The green looks good but the gold hardware ruins it completely. The metallic orange one however is damn sexy!

I agree though I wouldn't think that pickup combo would produce anything too special, shoud have a single coil bridge pup and humbucker neck!

Haw! I like that.
I made myself a series of hybrids to transition myself from Strat to Tele. One white, one mesquite, the Texas flag one (see avatar), then another mesquite.
I like the combination of Tele guts in a Strat body.

This is the last in the series:

Yeah, I know everyone hates gold hardware but it matched the brass pickguard best.
