I could probably fake my way thru a few Allman Bros songs on BASS but not Chick Corea. He could put you thru so many changes you wouldnt know what end was up.

Hi Andy,

Well I really didn't get to ring the Spider out like I would like to. Bill doesn't like distortion and of course NAMM has the DB police so it was used but in a subdued fashion.

I am a firm believer in the Flex for my style of playing and I own 4 of them now. Although I may have to get one for my kid.

Albert had Bill bring the Spider back to his shop in Corona not sure what the status is on it but I think he is waiting to hear from him.

I would like to say once again bro, mucho gracias to LINE 6, Andy and Albert!! I hope to meet you out there either next year or in Nashville.

Interesting photos Arlo. It looks like a guitar show but on a grand scale. How big is that booth that you were in and do you have any idea how much they had to pay for it?

Hi Marty,

The booth was around $2500 and it was something like 10 x 10 maybe a little smaller. It is a good size for a Pine guitar body display

You thinking about exhibiting your stuff next year?

Especially like:

Trussart exhibit
El Dorado stuff
The picture of Don Mare, Jason Lollar, and Bill Lawrence...what a tone brain trust

Very cool. One of these times I'm going to have to figure a way into the NAMM show.

Thanks for the nice PM. Let's share it so everyone will understand where I am coming from.

I meant no disrespect to the Dime bro. I truly didn't know who's guitars they were or who would put Kiss stickers on them for that matter. I had no idea why anyone would make such a fuss at NAMM unless it was someone well known. I thought it must be Paul Stanley. I stand corrected.

I was way more interested in the Tommy Bolin display. They just caught my attention for a second. So I took a picture.

Let's see now have I ever heard of Dime? Dallas Sound Lab, Tim Kimsey, Pantera's strip club. Hmmmmmmmmmm............ I dunno, I guess not.

WOW - OUCH - As soon as Rite-Aid opens at 9:00 am I gonna run down by me a 30 pack of Keystone Lights and then over to the local Liquor store and buy me a bottle of Jack to try to drink away my sorrows and try to come to grips with the fact that I am not the REAL guitarist I thought I was.....anybody care to join me?....

Wow... Sorry to stick my foot in my mouth... but... It struck me as rather odd that the only guitars with a "do not touch" sign on them were Dean guitars... Especially since one of our local guitar stores was a Dean dealer... and Deans were the only guitars without "do not touch" signs on them...

I liked Pantera... and was saddened by Dimebag's death..

That might well be true. I guess I must be about "halfway good", then since I opened for him. But that was in a 10-piece funk band playing something I'm actually good at (bass).

By the way we cut 4 body's with your templates the other day. 3 Cherry and one flamed Maple. I have to try a test fitting before Saturday. I guess they want to do some more then. Thanks for all the help Ed!

That's sweet... opening for Chick.... i bet that's one heck of a musical memory......

and as far as Bass players playing w/ Chick........ No offense Rob, but I doubt that you are as pleasant on the eyes as Tal Wilkenfield.

The three Deans guitars that have the Do Not Touch sign on them are Dimebag Darrells from Pantera. He was shot to death on stage by a "mental" fan while preforming with his brother a couple of years back.
Probabley worth a fortune.
