intonation?

On a standard tele bridge (three cylinder one).. If I change string thickness.. will it mess up my intonation? Or will it stay intonated (is that even a word?)?

It shouldn't, but it might. Not much of an answer, but it's about as accurate as you can get. The best way to find out is to simply check the intonnation after you make the switch. My guess is that any change will be very small.

This thread would have got more replies in the tech section of the forum

A small change like going from a set of 9's to a set of 10's should not change the intonation much, if any. Going from an unwound G to wound G probably will. Also, going from a light set to a heavy set may cause additional relief or bow in your neck, which can effect intonation if you don't adjust the truss rod to get the neck relief back to where it was.
