My First Partsocaster Build (w. Pics)
Hey folks, just thought i'd share this with y'all. Started the beginning phase of my first partsocaster build. bought this body on eBay about 2 weeks ago, i'm expecting it to arrive anyday now. weights 5lbs 5oz, its a genuine Fender body from a 2007 Texas Hwy 1 body.
For now, i'm planning on diss-assembling my current tele for a few parts (i.e. pickups, hardware, neck etc.). Soon though i'm hoping to get in contact with USA custom guitars and order a neck spec'd perfect to my preferences! I'm stoked, its gonna look sweet with a black pickguard (which arrived sooner than the body, but was ordered after... go figure). I've always wanted a blonde tele! Enjoy! Cheers!
