''Keith Richard" Portrait Telecaster

Here's the last one that I'll be showing, for a while. I'm going away, for a few months at the end of Dec. ,On a big project [guitar unrelated],and will be away from the computer. ...... About 2 months ago,I was a total 'Computer Idiot'. I tried at it before that, but my attention span couldn't grasp the thing....,Until I found this site, which made it fun to 'practice' I-net. Now I can download pics, type a little, etc. ....I think I'm on my way now ! Thanks All for the informative posts , and the compliments[and negative comments too] on my stuff. Thanks again !, and Happy New Year !! OOps, I almost forgot about Keith........

Love it

Looks a lot like the 1972 Keef, needs a humbucker and it looks great.

Nice one, jimmybusk

Fwiw - you probably know it and just forgot the "s" on his family name.
it's Richards.
although his manager in the ole' days, Andrew Loog Oldham, came up with the strange idea to skip the "s" to Richard.

Ok,You guys are right,Humbucker it is. I wonder which way keef wired his? ,being that a humbucker takes a 500k pot ,and the single coil takes a 250k.

I actually prefer the 250K pot on all my humbuckered teles. I think it works exceptionally well. Especially when mated with the single coil in the middle positon.

It would be fitting for a Keef.

Any plans for a Bloomfield?

Jimmy, that guitar will have extreme mojo, absolutely phenomenal. I would be proud to play an axe like that, take a bow sir.

,Yeah,I think it will have the Mojo, 'cause its real lightweight swamp ash. I hope this one gets a little "beat up " ,from being played. Usually people stash these kind of guitars in a closet,or hang it on a wall. Everything should be used[IMO]...Thanks. 'Going to the airport now,and give you guys a rest from my "overdose" of posts. ,big Jim
