While I haven't seen the Tele, I do have a Devlin, which is a great guitar, particular considering it's under 300 bux..

Looking at the return policy, they don't seem to have much confidence you will like the guitar once in hand, but I guess for $ 60 what can one expect?

I was looking at a buying an Indiana strat on ebay for a beater. In another forum, I asked about the brand, and most of the people that responded seemed to like them okay and what few reviews I found, they sounded good for the price too. I didn't get the strat only because something else came up that I wanted more.

I played one of these in a record store.
No Custom Shop but for almost free it was OK.

I've got enough junk around here, music-wise and otherwise. I've bought my last cheap guitar. What's the purpose, unless that's truly all that you can afford? Within a practical price range you pretty much get what you pay for. I mean what can you really expect for $200?

Ha

These guitars are killer.... They beat the heck out of a Fender Squier for less money......O yea and they do trust their product.....They have 10 year warranties.......I work at a music store and believe me my boss only sells the best....She is picky......and she loves em too.....The strats are top notch and they just announced 4 NEW TELE Models....Black Blonde Taxi Yellow and Sunburst tobacco......Ive already got em on order so when they are released we will get them.....Indiana is a great inexpensive instrument maker.....PS Modtones are nasty new pedals that SHS is distributing with them

Own two of these Indiana's. One is a Tell City Deluxe in Chrome Red with a Creme body binding and vintage tinted maple neck. The other is an IS-100 Strat clone. They both came virtually perfect from the factory(China). Intonation was, and still is spot on in the open, 5th, and 12th fret positions. What really gets me is they stay intonated better than my high end Fender's and G+L's. Spent less than $250.00 for both of them, brand new with S+H. I call them my Indiana Jonesins.

Looks like a good deal for a beginner. A little funny that Ronkirn has one. Kinda' like Peter Luger eating Burger King.
