Before you consider it beyond your budget, factor in the $25 ebay Mastercard cash back offer.
Now it's an affordable $144,975.

That'll justify the couple of custom Tele shaped guitars I'm after .. only a measly $5k each.

Now, where did I put that spare 10 grand?

Thats also the seller paying a $4350 final value fee from ebay if it sells. And if you buy it thru PayPal another $2175 And if youre out of the country, another foreign exchange transaction fee based on the exchange rate.

Wonder if I can get a discount

You have to admit, that's one CLEAN looking tele. They sure didn't use that tele as a muse for the modern relics.

That guitar has been flagged up here before. I always have a great time perusing those pictures.

From the look: this headstock and logo must be new(er).

I think that neck looks very light... too light for an instrument of that age.
Could it have been refinished or would keeping it in a REAL dark spot all those years do the trick?

you guys are hilarious!

there is nothing wrong with that guitar, it is just a really, REALLY, pristine example.

the price is steep but how many Nocasters exist in that level of condition? That one and maybe lees than a handful of others.

The guy can basically name his price and see if someone wants to add it to their collection at that value.

$200 shipping fee?!? I would expect the guitar to be brought in a limo to my house at no charge for that price.

Just my $0.02.

Collection item. That guitar will be another one, that nobody will ever see and hear on stage I assume.

+1 on that. Sad that its unlikely to get really played.

I wonder would it be worth making a stupid offer?

Did you guys see this one finally sold? I was actually surprised it did for that much but they don't come much better.
