Callaham parts?

I was just cruising their website looking for the remaining parts for my pine coppercaster build, and since I already have the body, neck (TMO-Fat), Glendale bridge, and Don Mare Pickups, thought to myself, why not some Callaham bits to finish it off.

I added up the cost for a pickguard, knobs, plates, switches, jacks, strap buttons, etc. and came up with an additional $180!

Worth it?

I'm just a bit tired of cheap bendy switchplates. But is any pickguard worth $45? (laquered bakelite)

I know, I know..quality ain't cheap.

I love Callaham parts, totally top quality.

Bill Callaham has the best Tele knobs, period.
his neck plates and stainless steel screws go
on ALL of my Fender guitars.

I am going to pop for a black guard for my
next project.

I also have tried his cryo-treatment for some
of my Strat pickups, seems pretty cool and I
can definitely hear a difference.

I'll bet his amps are fan-tastic!

I used the Callaham Vintage T parts set (less the pickguard) on my pinecaster and I am happy with the quality. I was not trying to build a cheap tele... I wanted ALL the parts to be quality and they are. I priced many of the parts seperately and maybe could have saved some money with cheaper parts but I have no regrets on my decision to use Callaham quality parts.

Mine has a Pine body, TMO-fat, Nocaster PU's, made my own leather pickguard and all the rest is Callaham.

Callaham's parts are outstanding! I'm using Bill's version of the Fralin Tele pickups and his wiring. Also, customer service is top notch. I've got a Callaham T bridge on my radar - $115 for bridge and saddles.

Quality - fantastic!
Service - superb!
Delivery - unbeatable (4-days for an International delivery! ).

Worth every penny and I enjoy my Callaham parts every day.

Looking at my 'handiwork' building a control plate, and wondering why I didn't simply buy a few built 4-way panels from him; there's so much premium parts in there.

All top flite quality stuff, no gripes whatsoever, money well spent.

Yep. Top shelf stuff and service to match. My new USACG Tele has all Callaham hardware (and Don Mare/Rick Holmstrom model pu's). Nuttin' better.

I bought a set of Callaham early '50s style Tele knobs for my 1st Esquire because someone in the Duncan forum was raving about them. Well worth the extra money. It's not like the regular Tele knobs I was using weren't any good, but these are a whole lot better. Freakishly good gripping power.

So I got me a set of late '50s flat top Callaham knobs for my next one.

I imagine the rest of the Callaham hardware is pretty good too.
