That's one of my all-time favorite YouTubes clips!

He has a new CD coming out pretty soon also.

I have the 2CD package, but I plan to buy the DVD. Great stuff.

That clip is one of my favorites too - very musical playing. I love those multi-string bends.

I really like the decor of that guys livingroom, and that guitar he's playing is really cool as well.

He is an amazing player and he has created such a cool body of work with the Hot Licks CD's and tele work.
I have always kind of thought that he looks like Larry from the 3 Stooges. Maybe a long lost relative.

Thanks for posting Arlen 2 Miguel.

Those clips were filmed in my living room, and that's my Tele he's playing.

If you'd like to write to him directly, you can thru his website. www.arlenroth.com

Thanks again. - Rich

A little off-topic, but Arlen was music director of the movie "Crossroads" starring Ralph Macchio(sp?). I believe he also taught the kid to play and recorded all the blues music heard in it. I could be wrong, though. Neat movie.

You are correct, and this topic has been discussed (beat to death really) here before. I am sure you can find it if you do a search. If you check Arlen's website he talks about it as well.

My apologies. I've only been hanging here about 6-months, or 1-Partscaster as expressed in Tele-years.

Hey Darren, no apologies needed at all. I just remember the last time that movie came up, it got a little silly.

Kent - I'm glad you like my clips. Thanks.
