Thats all I could see until I signed into Yahoo .......... then I could see the guitar.

The neck definitely looks dubious. Fender doesn't do truss rod holes like that and the decal looks fake. Also, Fender doesn't use that sort of bridge and saddles these days.

maybe they don't know.... it does say : "a gift from a friend.... need cash now". They could be oblivious to the real deal. It certainly looks unplayed.

Perhaps JG WENTWORTH will buy it.

The only thing real about that "Fender" is the sticker on the pickguard.

That's a pretty bad decal on that neck as well.

I hope no one buys that thing thinking it's legit.

What model is it supposed to be anyway? If the logo is supposed to be that of 70s Tele's with the large headstock than even I could tell it didn't look right. Imitations like this are common in Asia as it is very expensive to get the real deal from Dealers. I think alot of the buyers probably know there's a good chance it's not real.

It is as fake as a €3 Coin.
But the color scheme on the body is not bad at all...

ha that's where you're wrong..people on the classifieds actually think it's a mex std (looks way off) and are really interested cos it seems really cheap for a genuine tele..

Its another sad story, that if you don't have an idea what to watch for, you'll be right in there.

Never cracked how to get to see it -thanks Mulligan.... for the pics.

the best part is, someone chimed in to say that it's definitely NOT a fake, cos he's seen it being sold in some guitar store that carry fenders and gibsons..now i'm starting to doubt the credibility of that store..
