Ok.............who would bid on this guitar?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=150173728968

Thats a whole new kind and very expensive form of Russian Roulette. I can't believe he has 100% positive feedback to boot.

Say what?

"Not I!" said the usually inquisitive chap from Iowa.

No bidders yet - they've all gone to buy lottery tickets instead!

Some opening bid when you've no idea what would come in the post.

I bid on one of his previous auctions and received a 1952 Telecaster Blackguard in near mint condition. Then the alarm clock went off, and I had to get up for work.

What the HECK is going on here???

How is eBay allowing them to put auctions up like that?

The second one especially! How do you sell something YOU DON'T HAVE???

This doesn't make me laugh, this makes me angry!!!

If I were to bid, it would be with a 100% guaranteed Mystery Payment.

That first auction is just nuts.

The second one I'd bid maybe up to $200, on the basis of the one picture. Well, maybe $150.

Ha ha ha - exactly! But be sure to include a disclaimer:

"Payment may be with money made in the US, Korea, China, Mexico, Texas or anywhere else, I don't know if it is a copy, original, fake or anything I know it is suppose to be in good condition I am being as honest as i can, if this payment turns out to be in original US funds then you need to give me an original blackguard as a bonus."

DO NOT BID ON THE 1968 TELE. I guarantee you will not recieve the guitar in the photo, as I own it and it is not for sale! The photo for that auction was taken from the old auction where I bought the guitar, and is entirely without my permission. I have contacted the seller and have advised him of this. I'm not sure what else I can do.

Believe me, if I were to ever sell it, I would have posted a notice on TDPRI, and there would be complete, clear photos.

Report it to eBay. You're well within your rights to have them pull the auction.

"Mystery guitar"??

Probably means you'll end up getting a busted Tokai make-off or something.

You should definately report this to EBAY immediately, and have that auction pulled.
