Isocyanates have only been linked to cancer in mice. So I suggest you place Minnie in the left respirator, and Mickey in the right. When one of them drops dead go and get an MRI scan .

Ah Right! Godin, now i remember. Wish they would have done at tele instead. It looked like a guitar i probably wouldn't buy but it was still cool to watch it get built.

That's cool that they did an episode about the amp too. I wish i could have seen that one. I wonder if it's a Canadian show? Cuz i'm pretty sure Godin is a Canadian guitar company, same thing with Traynor (they're signature to Long & McQuade Music Stores).

Thanks...I think...

Not sure how this will get finished. May well run it up the road and have Bob the Bike Painter put the last goop on it.

I did scuff it up today.

Apparently that miracle of modern chemistry does like like to stick to itself. So we will take the shine off of it with the 3M green pad.

It's ready for what comes next...whatever that will be.

Now I think I'll go spray some clear nitro on the Tractorcaster. I think I can understand and protect myself from that.

Here's the Tractorcaster with the last of two gloss coats of clear.

It will hang for a week, then it can be wet-sanded smooth and polished.

This is one is FINALLY seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

You ever watch the TV Show called "How It's Made" on Discovery Channel? there was one show where they built a guitar completely from scratch. I thought it was cool. I suppose if it was a TV it might end up being like watching grass grow, but maybe the it would be good if they did some kind of special on it. Maybe i can't speak for all, but i know it'd be uber exciting for me to watch. I sure enjoyed watching all your sparkle tele's go from start to finish.

Cheers
Discovery also has a new show similiar to How Its Made, but it spends more time at each factory and really gets into more depth. Well on this show, they went to the Gibson plant, and they showed how Les Pauls were made.

In anticipation of a trip to Bob the Painter tomorrow, I am going to sand this one, and clean up the binding on the other two.

It looks smooth and shiny...

but it is still pretty rough

This bad boy...

is back from Bob's with its last two coats of clear goop.

It just needs to be DAd and buffed out.

The body and the neck should reach completion soon!

The other two bodies have their first two coats of goop and are ready to be scufffed up to get their next two coats.

This is starting to be fun!

What about an orange sparkle, or even a white sparkle? ... Man, that could be seriously awesome.

Oh, I know where I'm going next...but it is a secret.

What bothers me is that I am going to wind up with TWO gold ones...and didn't really notice it until last night.

That has to be a symptom of something.

In fact it's so serious I'm afraid for your health!

However, I think I can help you there.

Breathing in too much Deft will do that to Ya

Kidding aside, the quiver does look like something is missing. Like the RubyCaster. Maybe you should build another red one?

You could build a pumpkin orange one in time for Halloween.

does all that clear coat brighten up the tone? If so i'm wondering if doing one of these w/an alder body instead of ash might be a good idea? Thoughts?
