new tele. '69 thinline : D

her name's Louisiana. something i found kind of odd, i really had no idea that they made the thinlines with mahogany bodies. all the pics ive seen online have looks like alder or maple.

like that one, but i saw this one in a shop and played it, and loved it. so she went on layaway and now hear she is. im sure some of you remember me making multiple threads involving it. but i love it. i loove the sound, it doesnt quite suit my bands sound. so i may end of changing the bridge pup, but im not sure yet cuz i do love pulling out some country/blues when i switch to that pickup. but whatever. but yeah the pick guard has some kind of residue on it. its not sticky, but it looks like duct tape, its like all over it.. so im gonna replace it. im thinking of going abalone. what do you guys think?

Hey,
That is one very good looking 69. It is the only one of that color that I've seen. Nice!

Congratulations on the purchase of your '69 Thinline Tele, hey! It looks very nice. Shouldn't be that difficult to clean up the pickguard.
Enjoy!
