CIJ 70's RI tele
Hi there Tele fanatics! First post here! This site kicks butt! Been lurking here for quite some time finally decided I needed to start participating. I have the tele bug bad. about six months ago, I got a MIM tele, one of the newer ones. Last month got a MIJ 62 RI early 80's tele that I LOVE! I am now seriously considering one of the CIJ 70's RI teles (white blond finish w/ white pickguard) that were out for the last two years but are now out of production. They look great, but I can find very little information on them at all. Does anyone here have one or has tried one that can give me some input? What kind of pickups, frets, neck etc. Is it shielded? Even if you have tried one would love to hear your opinions. Also interested in how these compare sonically to a american vintage 52 ri as I am considering that also. Thanks for any help.

CIJ 70's RI teles (white blond finish w/ white pickguard)
I have one (left-handed) and it is very near a clone of my "real" 1975 Tele. Don't hesitate just get it!

Hi, I was just looking through some older posts and found this one. I have a cij 71 reissue, vintage white , maple board. Man this is my fav tele. the pickups I think a the japanese ones. But what a great tone and the sustain is as long as a coal train. I play traditonal country and this guitar delivers classic tone.
