any blond baja's in europe?

i have a baja on order, but the guitarshopkeep told me yesterday that the ETA, end of august, is delayed for an unspecified amount of time... so he gave me the green light to search elsewhere...

any of you know of BLOND baja's in stock in belgium, the netherlans, germany... europe?

anyone else having this problem of having to wait several months whenever you order something from fender?

thx for the help!

I've heard they are hard to find, but shouldn't be that hard! Just played one at the local store a couple of days ago. Though not 100% it was blonde not desert sand.

Most people here buy online from German stores, so there ought be some... somewhere. Good luck on your pursuit.

I ordered mine at the beginning of June. Latest I've been told is Aug/Sep.

My order is for Blond, but it seems that both colours are out of stock.

Great planning from someone.

Great reviews come out in magazines and no stock

I've ordered mine (blonde with blackguard) in april at my local store and the salesman told me it's a five month waiting for the baja's. It seems to be a popular tele. I'm glad it's not a rickenbacker..it could be years of waiting.

Musicstore (Germany) had those in stock in June, and don't know by now if they still have it.
Contact them.

wow... that's a lot of replies already...
i'm glad i'm not the only one waiting...
someone indeed didn't think this through!
this must be the 10th time i'm waiting several months for something from fender to get to belgium...
gretsches were a 6 month wait...

but first price goes to my Duchossoir book! I have waited 2 YEARS for that to get here. but i waited it out because it was a present from the shopkeep.

i guess fender doesn't really care about the european market? or maybe they didn't expect the baja to be a topseller?

anyhow... this really s***s!

feedback in eindhoven has a baja. Or had one recently. I thought it was a blonde one. but it may have been desert sand.

That's Desert Sand, not Blonde. There are some Desert Sands in UK as well
