Anyone catch Buddy Guy last night (Tele content)?

I caught the last few minutes and he was sounding great! He was playing an old 72 Tele Custom, I think. His tone is pretty good so it might be worth seeing him if he comes around to your area.

I love Buddy Guy, and he plays the hell out of that Tele! The first time I saw him play that Tele I was in Savannah, GA and his tone was amazing. I thought it was a million times better than any Strat he's ever played. He always comes out into the audience and he stood right next to me while playing the 72. I got a some quality Buddy, and got a really good look at the guitar. He has removed two of the knobs/pots, and I'm assuming the other two were one volume, and one tone. Very, very cool! One of my favorite guitarists of all time, and one heck of a showman.

I love it when Buddy plays something other than a Strat. A few years ago I saw him and he was playing a goldtop Les Paul with humbuckers. His tone was incredible!

I'd love to see him playing that Tele as well.
