Good News...
Had a GREAT rehearsal tonight with my new band!
Added some "Magic Sam" to the songlist.
And I'm here to tell you Magic Sam tunes like "She Belongs To ME" sound really cool on a tele. 8)

Bad News...
Went to see Gatemouth Brown at a small but cool club here in town but couldn't get in...the place was sold out!
People still standing outside-hoping to get in...I've done many gigs with different bands at this club and know one of the owners pretty well - but DARN, I still couldn't get in the place. :evil:

Cool News...
Was walking away disappointed...when this van pulls up and out pops Gatemouth! I got to meet him & talk to him a bit...very cool fella! 8)

But you know what...his people take him in the club and then I still couldn't get in...
DOUBLE DARN! :evil:

So...I came home, and watched "The Blues" on PBS and had an "Old Speckled Hen" English Ale.

Well maybe next time!

Good news and cool news overcomes bad news every time..
