A 2007 MIM '69 3 color sunburst reissue was purchased a few months ago and I just bought a 1998 Natural CIJ '72 reissue.

I have a 2002 MIM 69 reissue in natural mahogany. I have an uncontrollable urge to tinker with everything I get, but this guitar just sounds so good the way it is...

2007 MIM Thinline RI, 3TS -- all stock. I'm not interested in messing around with the innards. Sounds great through my Blues Jr. It's a dream guitar for me -- much better than my old '67 Jag, 3TS...I never could bond with that thing, even though it looked and sounder pretty good. In the end, I was headed for the Tele.

Left: 1997 MIK Squier Pro Tone Thinline
There are famous whorehouses area located at Dolly street in Surabaya, 2nd largest city in Indonesia. Since she's a bordellocaster, I name her Dolly.

Right: 2007 CIC Squier VMT Thinline
Her name is Siros ('ros' from rosewood; 'si' is 'the' in English).

Love'em both!

Dear all, a question...

from a rookie in this wonderful forum...

First, this is new to me posting in a forum, and will try to figure out how to load pics of my guitars up..

Anyway, am new here still, and am in awe in regards to all the know how about our favorite axes..

Now in regards to the Thinlines...

I have a real nice G&L US ASAT Classic Semi Hollow, Honeyburst, with maple neck..

For me that guitar has a wonderful sound..anyway will try to upload pcs..

Now my question, would you consider such an ASAT Semi Hollow a "Thinline"..?

'Cause that is what it is for me..

Thanks for setting me straight on that..

If it's Thinline to you it's a thinline.

To post pictures most of us are using a picture server site like Photo Bucket, Pbase, etc.
When you are doing a post and want to add a picture click on the icon in the line right above, as you are doing your post, that looks like a yellow background mountain and a sun. Right next to the envelope icon.
Copy and paste your photo link and you should get your picture.
You can do a search for posting photos on the forum and you will probably get a better explanation.

Does your ASAT look like this:

Thank you,

will get on one of the photo servers..

Well, yes, mine looks almost like that one, except the Honeyburst on mine is a bit different and my pickguard is black...

Thanks for the photo advice, will try out..

Anyway mine also has the f-hole, and well what should I say?, she twangs, she sings and at the same time she also has some very interesting & different tones in store..she'll do anything, like rock, she's also blue at times, she can be jazzy like a 335 and she can do country like my AM STD TELE...

still exploring her, naturally she plays a lot better than me, sort of leads me into unknown territory every day again..(me am still flabbergasted everytime I take her...)

just very happy with that ASAT semi hollow "Thinline"...

I have a "72" RI and I love it! I Bought a new "69" this past Friday and WOW! This things is incredible. The "69" is considerably lighter than the "72" and has a totally different sound due to being more hollow and the single coil pups. Both have the 7.25 radius neck. I love them both!!!

Sounds like a Thinline to me.
