Shooter Jennings last night

I met Shooter Jennings and the .357's last night at their gig in Newcastle, England. The show was fabulous. Shooter had a moment though when he went completely of the rails and picked up a flying V but he soon realised the errors of his ways and swapped it for his telecaster again.

What is that tele he uses. It's based on his dads I know but is it his dads or is it a custom shop?

anyone know anything about it.

but here he is playing a different tele.

this one is the waylon signature model, so whats the other one?

oh and here's me and shooter...

Fender supplies Shooter with his amps and guitars. I don't know if Jesse lets him use Waylons tele. She goes to a few of his shows.

The hot lead licks you heard were coming from his lead guitarist Leroy. The SG Leroy plays was a loaner From Gibson, Leroy liked it so much he carved his name on the front of the body, Gibson was pissed, but Shooter had an upcoming appearance on CBS and Gibson said if Leroy would use the SG on the CBS spot, that he could keep the guitar.

That first pic kinda looks like Waylons old tele, maybe Jesse finally let him take it out, but I doubt it. I bet its a copy of Waylons tele.

I remember when I saw waylon live he had about 4 teles all looking the same. Maybe shooter has them now but Jesse has the original.

That's the one. He played the first time then went looking for a knife. he said if he carved his name in it, Gibson wouldn't want it back.

I saw Jesse in Waco when Shooter played the Lakeside Tavern here.

I don't think Shooter's playing Waylon's Tele there: Shooter's looks like it's got an American Series neck, for a start!

Also, the pattern of leather work looks different to every Tele I've seen Waylon play.

According to last months GP, Leroy also uses a Trussart "steel" guitar a lot live.

and Man! I love the look of the Waylon Sig CS Tele.

Shooter was included in the last Frontline with that sig model and man oh man, if I had the $$$ I'd find one and buy it! Was the White Rose a decal or carving in the body?

Leroy didnt use the steel last night.

I would say the rose is carved. Waylons is a tooled leather I think.

Shooter had the leather covering made and put on a tele, not sure what model, but not one of Waylon's. The back of his guitar has two 6 shooters engraved in leather, he also had a custom strap with bullets, when I saw him in Charlotte he had the strap, but like the next few days it was stolen. It also has C.B.C.S under the control plate for Country Boy Can Survive.
