SCN Pickups and control hardware (S1)

Well, FedEx stopped by my house and left a little parcel with a set of Fender SCN tele pickups, and all the control stuff you need, including the S1 switching system... looks like I need to build a new tele

Cool! Where did you get the parts for the S1? I assume that it includes the special volume knob and pot?

Yes it does include the whole thing. I got it off of someone who wanted to go for another setup and took it off their tele. I don't even know that I like it all that much. I just wanted to try it out, and that's an easy way to do so :)

I love my American Deluxe with SCNs and S1 switching, I think they sound really good. I find it gives you a great range of sounds from mellow to twang, with that extra kick for really dirty songs.

Let us know what you think after trying it Mojo.

Will do, friend. I just need to decide whether I want to use some of the bodies I have in the shop and build a brand new guitar around it, or whether I will just drop the assembly into an existing guitar...
