SCN PU's in a Tele?

I have yet to see one of the Tele's with the SCN PU's in a Tele. Does it still sound like a Tele?

What's your opinion on these PU's in a Tele? I have them in my American Deluxe Strat and think they're fantastic.

they didn't float my boat...but they did sound good, and played well

i took them out of my 04 dlx......imo, not *tele* enuf

I have them in my 05 AmDlx. I just love them I think they sound perfect. The guitar makes the noises I like. Not vintage twang though, I think it's a tab bit more refined and I don't really like ice-picky twang anyway. These ones do it for me.

I really like them. They sound different from the "standard" maximum twang Tele pups that I favor, but they're great on their own terms. Completely quiet and hotter than other Tele pups. Great for rock.

If I only had one Tele, I probably wouldn't go with them, but they are great if you want an alternative.
