I wonder if those beautifully grained puppies are sweating it being placed so closely to a fireplace.

NICE!

Sure look sweet.
What's that 6 string sound like?
What degree of Twang?
Is getting The Pete Anderson Tone effortless?

Stunning...

What does it for me is how tasty the 'burst is - just a hint of black and fade around the edges... and usually I don't dig gold hardware on a tele, but in this case it suits perfectly, esp with the dark headstocks...

Post audio clips asap!

Thanks guys!

It's a great feeling to wake up to so many wowsers from you guys. These are sister alder bodies with Maple Tops. The six uses a 24-3/4 scale neck and the twelve is 25-1/2 scale. I had planned to put TDPRI PARTSCASTER Decals on them but the black headstock face hides the "partscaster" lettering. Both have the new Gretsch TV Jones Filtertrons and twang very nicely. As you might expect they do the Gretsch thing very well. I prefer the sound of these solid bodies compared to the hollow ones I have built. These pickups are cool! Not a hot overwound gainy tone at all. Actually quite single coil sounding but quiet! They let the amp do it's thing and sit very well with my 57 Deluxe clone or Vox AC-30. I did the six first and have been playing the bejesus out of it. Just finished the twelve and still tweaking the nut/action set up before they go on the block as a pair. I dont have to keep reminding myself that I have too many telies, my wife (CEO) does that!
Thanks again for all the encouragement..........
Rob (the other Rob)

I am so impressed with the luthier skills are so many guys here, and these are two of the finest I've ever seen.

I'm more of a modder than a maker:) I put together whatever dream guitar (tele based, of course) someone wants.
Thanks again for all the kind words.
Rob

If I won the Lotto? I'd build guitars and sell them until I went broke
