1989 Telecaster Plus deluxe...
Hi
I have one of these 1989 w/ natural ash body, pop in trem arm, maple fingerboard, locking tuners all original. It has BOTH the Humbucker and Single coil Lace Sensor pick ups. in great condition and I am wondering what it is worth? I thinkthey are rare. It has amazing tone capabilities. Are these rare or did fender make a ton of these. I cant seem to fnd any info on them. Anything comments would help. thanks! Tim |

they *are* reasonably rare, especially with the trem. I've only seen one in a catalog, never in person. I wanted one *bad* back then, but just didn't have the scratch. can't say what the value is. for that matter, I can only attest to the scarcity in the Metro Detroit area!
I'll trade ya a Squier '51 for it... |

Does it look like one of these? The one on the left is a '91, the one on the right is a '92.
![]() There aren't that many around and a lot of players just plain don't like them, but there are a few of us out here that feel these are great guitars. I would say they are going for about $700 to $900, depending on condition and model. I've seen them on e-Bay break $1,000, but those are in pretty mint condition and are the Deluxe Fender Plus, the one's with he tremolo, natural ash finish, Wilkinson nut, and locking turners. |
