cable question
Ok, I have the telecaster connected to the amp (ac30) and the cable is ca. 5m long. Now the question is: how long it must be the cable to not affect the sound of the guitar? And which cables to use? The spiral cables are good to use or not?

Spiral cables typically suck, although some of the most legendary guitar tones of all time have been created using them.
As far as I know 5 meters or 18 feet, is about as far as you want to go with a single cable. Of course, I use two 12 foot cables and go through 5 effects boxes but then, I'm not a real tone snob either. I just go out and gig and enjoy.
